File:Cilla Black and Paul McCartney - Step Inside Love, Bell Records 1968.png[edit]
Bell Records may have published the photo without copyright notice. However, I can't be certain whether the photograph was either a British or an American work. Cilla Black and Paul McCartney were part of the Parlophone Records, a British record label. More likely, the photo seen in a Billboard magazine ad may have belonged to Parlophone Records and more likely copyrighted in the UK. Furthermore, apparently, the photo was taken in a music studio more likely in the UK unless I stand corrected. Can't say for certain whether the URAA restored the US copyrights, but I'm pretty sure it's copyrighted in the UK. George Ho (talk) 02:23, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

- Keep Commons:Project scope/Precautionary principle requires significant doubt, this is speculation. We have the advertisement here in the USA and speculation, rather than evidence, that it may originate in the UK and be copyrighted there. I would vote delete if I saw evidence, rather than speculation, or if there was a takedown notice from Parlophone Records. --RAN (talk) 05:11, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
- You want evidence? Here you go: this picture was also published by Northern Songs Ltd as part of a very old (apparently) UK sheet music of "Step Inside Love" (auction page, 45cat, ebay (1), ebay (2) Paul McCartney Project). More likely, the photo was taken in Chappell Studios, like the other photo. George Ho (talk) 08:31, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
